Volunteer With Us
Volunteering at Between Horses and Humans is a rewarding way to make a difference in the lives of youth and horses alike. Whether you assist with horse care, support our instructors during sessions, help with fundraising events, or lend a hand with administrative tasks, your time and skills are invaluable.
No prior horse experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and a passion for helping others. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a supportive community that believes in the power of horses to heal and inspire. Join us today and be part of something truly meaningful!
Your Role in Changing Lives
- Support Youth Growth: Help children build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment.
- Care for Our Horses: Assist with grooming, feeding, and general horse care to ensure our equine partners remain healthy and ready to support our programs.
- Engage in Community Events: Participate in fundraising, outreach, and special events to help expand our mission and bring more awareness to the impact of our programs.
...I am so thankful for this program and everything they have done to help my little girl overcome what has happened to her. Let's face it, even as adults we don't know how to handle death and suicide. Within a couple of years a very young child lost the 2 men she was closest to, so of course she wouldn't know how to handle it. BHH has taught her so much. She loves working with the horses and loves sharing her feelings with them. We will always be thankful.

I wanted to say thank you for all the time you give to help our kiddos!!! Jaxin spent a little less than 6 months with your program before we moved and it was so helpful for him. We haven't found anything here yet to match, but he learned enough to be able to love and care for a pig here as an FFA project. He has earned 4th and 5th place in shows with her and I attribute a lot of his animal understanding to your program. Thanks again.
